After 20 years of taking small groups of active visitors to the heart of Harlem's jazzy nightlife, we are excited to show you a great time. It's the hidden jazz haunts where the local musicians and fans hang out that are the most fun. We know exactly where to go on a Monday night in Harlem to find all the action, and where to go on a Friday night to avoid the long lines.
We do this every night and we look forward to introducing you to all the cats. If you play or sing, we can even get you on stage to join the jam. There are 3 different clubs included in the experience, all great and all offering a new way of understanding this historic scene for hours of live music - up close and personal.
Not only that, there are great sites to visit while we're uptown like the Apollo Theater, Jungle Alley, Minton's Playhouse, and the Legendary Tree of Hope. We'll let you know all about the Cotton Club, Savoy Ballroom, and the Prohibition Era Speakeasies where Billie Holiday and all the greats got started.
It's a beautiful, well-preserved neighborhood of vintage homes on charming tree-lined streets with cafes and restaurants opening daily - so the walk will really surprise and delight you.
We start and end in midtown Manhattan close to the hotel and theater district around Times Square - and we'll escort you safely back downtown by subway. The experience lasts 5-hours but the memories will last a lifetime.
