#Tokyo: Explore underground Koenji music scene with a local

Koenji is considered a popular area to explore various music background. Popularized in the 1970s for its Japanese punk scene, Koenji remains a great area to hang out for locals and meet new people!

We will start by walking down Koenji central area, where you will learn the history of Koenji itself and how it got its reputation. From there, We will head to a stand-up fusion bar. This bar offers over 50 selectable fused drinks ranging from pomegranate vodka, coffee bean rum, cacao bean tequila, orange kiwi rum and more! They also have an endless supply of nuts to crack open!

From there, we will head to an underground izakaya, where you will step back into the 1980s with 80s Japanese posters, collectibles, music, and styles. You will get one choice of drink and food from here.

During this experience, you might also run into local talents who are always performing around the streets of Koenji, so have your cameras ready to catch these street performers! This will be a unique evening experience to see what the music life is like in Japan!
