#Valparaiso: Hike through the Mauco Hills & Wetlands

Hike this gorgeous hill, which was an ancient view point of chileans indians, from where you can watch the ocean and Mount Aconcagua, the higher one of America.

Very rich flora, during spring and summer we can find beautiful endemic orquids and much more.

Altitude: 2.375 feet / 724 meters a.s.l.

Difficulty level: Low

Distance: 5.1 miles /8.2 kilometers, round trip

Hiking time: 2.5 hours

You can choose the time we start the activity, between 8 am to 10 am

Season: Year round

You just need to have good health, no knee injuries and over 8 years old. Previous experience is not necessary.

Description & target: Hiking to the top of the hill, what it takes about 1.5 hours. Birds and reptiles watching, eventually foxes and rodents. Expose to sun with a few shadowy points. About 1 hour way back.

After that we will have an stretching session. Then, we will visit a protected wetland by the mouth of Aconcagua river, where we will have the chance to watch a lot of birds and have a great picnic.
