#Santiago: Hike through Andes Mountains Waterfall w/ a Local

Aguas del Ramón is a natural park located on the Andes Range of Santiago at the foot of the San Ramón hill. It has great biodiversity, featuring the flora native of the central zone. The park also presents ecological facilities that educate visitors on local nature and wildlife.

After a 3 hour hike where we leave the city of Santiago, visitors will arrive at a waterfall called “Salto de Apoquindo” that is almost 20 meters high. Here we will have lunch and if the weather permits us, enjoy a refreshing swim. On the way to the waterfall, we will pass through streams, a Peumos forest, valleys of wild herbs, hillsides with cactus and beautiful lookouts.
