Embalse El Yeso is a reservoir located in the Andes, in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile. It is formed by the Dam of the Yeso river, part of the Maipo river basin. The reservoir has a capacity of 250,000,000 m³ and is the main source of public drinking water supply for the entire Metropolitan Region. This reservoir was inaugurated in 1964.

You will be amazed by the beautiful landscapes that the surrounding nature offers us. The large canyons next to the Rio Maipo and lots of green mixed, all in just one landscape – it's absolutely breathtaking! Melting snowcaps and millenary ice glaciers at the top of the mountains make this one of the most beautiful landscapes in Chile!
